ABOUT US

Healthy Minds has been developed in collaboration with schools in Sheffield and CAMHS.

It was first commissioned in 2016 as part of the CAMHS Schools Link initiative, receiving funding from NHS England (NHSE) and the Department for Education (DfE). It is now locally commissioned and delivered by Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.

It offers an integrated approach, combining

  1. Mental health knowledge and clinical practice.
  2. Psychological theory.
  3. Neurodevelopmental research.
  4. Trauma-informed thinking.
  5. Expertise within schools.

The service aims to continue developing its understanding of how to help children and young people reach their full potential.
